It’s official. “The Loss” has a sequel and it’s coming soon. Over the past few weeks I’ve been playing around with a few options for the title. I’m fairly certain I’ve chosen a winner….that announcement will come once the cover art is complete.
Whew. This one has been a doozy of emotions to write. I can’t wait to release it in the very near future. For now, I’ll leave you with a small snippet.
Everything started out the same as the day before. Except for the wind. Looking back now, it’s hard to imagine that a gentle breeze would be the beginning of the end. Who knew that this is where we would really begin to fall apart. But that’s the funny thing isn’t it? One never knows when your last moments will make their final appearance.
I wish I had paid closer attention to the warning signs. I would’ve sought cover but I was blinded. A storm was brewing in his mind. That easy breeze would eventually turn into his final bow, destroying everything in its path. I didn’t stand a chance.
